Programme for 2010
There is a rolling programme, as follows: 1st Tuesday: Discussion Night - This might be small group discussions with a topic, or general chat and getting to know one another. 2nd Tuesday: Yoga with Sheila Anderson. This is very gentle yoga with the emphasis on breathing and relaxation. It can be done sitting in a chair, if necessary. Bring a yoga mat if you have one, we have some spares at the group. Bring a cushion and a blanket for the relaxation if you will be lying on the floor. 3rd Tuesday: Speaker's Night: See list of speakers for the year. Last Tuesday: Social/Fun Night – This might be a simple evening of chat and nibbles or, occasionally, an organised evening of something entertaining. NB Where there is a five-Tuesday month, the "extra" Tuesday will usually be the fourth Tuesday and Social/fun night will be the fifth Tuesday. However, in August, Social/Fun night is 24th and we are closed on the 31st. Please Note: l Every Tuesday evening there is at least one complementary therapist on duty. l Our library is open, for browsing and borrowing books, every Tuesday evening until 9.30pm. l We will be starting a regular relaxation session every Tuesday evening from 9pm to 9.30pm. l On the first Tuesday of every month, vitamin and mineral supplements are on sale to members, at discounted prices, from 7pm to 7.30pm.
